On August 18th, 2013, the day before I left for college, I lost a
friend. Keeland Thane Johns. Simply, the hashtags represent what Keeland stood for both on and off the field. I think that there is so much we can learn by simply opening our eyes.

The hashtags stand for Love, Friendship and Family. They stand for giving to someone else, lending a helping hand and having an open heart. They stand for the love for the game, for your teammates and your opponents. They stand for the beauty in the simple things, the beauty in the complicated and the beauty in emptiness. They stand for love, because in this world I truly believe we can make a difference.
